Neuron Bio shares its patents experience in Transfiere 2013
Neuron Bio participated in the 2nd European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, known as Transfiere, which was held in Málaga from 13 to 14 February.
Elena Requena, head of the Business Development department of Neuron Bio, took part with other reference companies and organisations belonging to the sector in a round table devoted to innovative public purchase, called “Practical solutions in the transfer of technology: innovative public purchase, consortium and patent box, and public-private collaboration”. During this session the main topic of discussion was the importance of enhancing the role of public administration in boosting business innovation.
María José de Concepción, head of the Communications Service of the Spanish Patents and Brands Office, chaired the round table. The other participants were Eva Martínez, head of the department of Aeronautics, Transport and Safety of the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI); Luis Cueto Álvarez de Sotomayor, vice-director of the organisation for Business Innovation (MINECO); Captain José María Riola Rodríguez, head engineer of the Technological Observatory and member of the Ministry of Defence; and Pablo Hervás of VET+I.
The Transfiere forum, held at the Málaga Trade-Fair and Exhibition Centre, is considered to be the most important multi-sectorial forum for innovation in Spain. Its aim is to put universities in contact with the business sector in order to encourage technological transfer and co-operation between both spheres.
