Neuron Bio attends the most important biotechnological trade fair in the world
Representatives of Neuron Bio attended the most important biotechnological trade fair in the world, Bio 2013 which was held in Chicago USA from 22 to 25 April.
Elena Requena, head of the Neuron Bio business development department, and Javier S. Burgos, CSO of the Neuron BioPharma division represented the company.
As in other years Neuron Bio had its own stand in the Spanish pavilion, which presented the technological and research advances that the company is making. The company representatives also had the opportunity to hold various meetings with potential investors both for the company’s discovery platforms as well as for the company portfolio, among which the compound NST0037 stands out being a drug designed for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
The Bio International Convention is considered to be one of the most important events in the world for the biotechnological industry as year after year it is the main attraction for the key players in the sector. Participation by politicians, scientists, executives and celebrities distinguished these days during which hundreds of sessions about new trends in biotechnology were held.
The exhibition sector of the event is considered to be the biggest of this sector in the world.
